Questions grown-ups ask

What is a StoryPlay?

A picture book that opens across two pages: an animated scene on one side, the words on the other, and a narrator reading aloud with each word lit up as it’s said. Children can tap any word to hear it again.

What age are the books for?

Ages 3 to 6. Each book page shows the age it was written for. The stories are calm and kind, with warm endings, so they work well at bedtime.

What do I get with the Club?

Every book in the library, and each new book as it’s published, in your web browser, on your phone, tablet or computer. If you leave the Club, books you bought separately stay yours.

How does the free trial work?

Families joining the Club for the first time get 7 days free. We’ll show the date your first payment is due on your billing page, and you can cancel there before then without paying anything.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time, from Plan and billing. Your membership carries on until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you can change your mind until then.

Is it made with AI?

Yes. The pictures, the animation and the narrators’ voices are made with AI tools, directed by our studio. You can find the narration and illustration credits on each book’s page.

Can I buy books in the app?

The iPhone and Android apps are still in testing. For now, you can buy books, join the Club and read your library here in your browser.
